Description This compact landscape rose is a smaller version of Scarlet Meidiland graced with beautiful blooms of ruby red. Borne in abundant clusters of seven to ten, the deep ruby red buds open to lovely blooms of deep, bluish red that appear continuously throughout the season. Low and mounding in habit, Ruby Meidiland makes a great low hedge and is a perfect companion for perennials. The dense, disease resistant foliage is a lustrous deep green that takes on pleasant color in fall to accompany attractive fruit.
